After a command performance at the Procuring Contracting Officer and Intern Training Symposium (PCOTS) in 2006 and receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from Claude M. Bolton Jr. and Tina Ballard as well as a letter of thanks from James K. Warrington , AVATAR Computing, Inc has been invited back to the PCOTS in Atlanta at the end of April 2008 to serve as technical and AV lead. Working closely with this year’s organizer Joan Hauser, AVATAR co-owner Matt Foster has brought his wealth of IT knowledge to wow them again. The conference organizer and her team were more than thrilled with the SharePoint site that AVATAR Computing set up and maintained for them. Not only was AVATAR invited back this year but were granted a budget to support a three man team in order to keep the quality of service that the PCOTS and its presenters deserve. “It’s what we like to do.” Explained Matt Foster when asked how he felt about being brought back to the PCOTS, “Any opportunity to help out the U. S. Army in this arena is a privilege”.
